Description
This course offers participants an accelerated PADI open water dive course which is conducted over 2 days (prerequisites apply) - as opposed to the traditional 4 day courses.
In order to satisfy the requirements of this accelerated course, participants must have completed the theory portion (i.e. knowledge development) prior to applying.
The related theory work may be completed at home over the Internet as part of an e-Learning package on the PADI website.
About PADI e-Learning System:
Learning to scuba dive requires both knowledge development (facts, principles, concepts) and motor procedures (skills, techniques, methods). The PADI Open Water Diver Course online provides the knowledge development portion you need. You develop the remaining skills by actually diving with a PADI Instructor at your local PADI Certified Dive Center.
After enrolling, PADI's eLearning system presents you with interactive presentations that include videos, audio, graphics and reading. Short quizzes let you gauge your progress, and review and correct anything you might happen to miss. This lets you move through the program efficiently and at your own pace.
Assistance with this can be arranged by us, alternatively you may organise it at your own convenience.

On successful completion of your Accelerated PADI Open Water Course, receive International certification to dive anywhere in the world to the level that you have been taught.
The 2 Days of the Accelerated Course consists of:
1. Confined water dives
2. Four Open water dives.
You'll be diving in less time than you think, you can complete an Accelerated Open water course in as little as 2 days.

Participant Guidelines
Participants are asked to complete the PADI e-Learning online course in their own time prior to commencing the Accelerated PADI Open Water Scuba Diving Course. Failing to do so will prevent participants entry into the accelerated program.
When registering for the PADI e-Learning course participants must nominate Devocean Dive as the certified dive store. Participants must enter PADI Store Number #19510. This is very important to ensure you match the store to your e-Learning account, so we can help manage your progress.
Must be at least 12 years of age
Provide us with 2 passport photo's
Provide us with a current recreational dive medical (if you don't have a dive doctor we can recommend one)

The e-Learning PADI online course work is an additional cost of USD120 and is not included in the price of the Accelerated PADI course.
The e-Learning is to be completed before any open water dives are conducted.
